Formed in 1915. This battalion was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with headquarters in Winnipeg. Sailed for England in May of 1916, in the Great Canadian Armada,and served in France and Belgium with the 12th Infantry Brigade, 4th Canadian Division.
