Above you may view the scans of this rare badge grouping fot the Saskatchewan Border Regiment. This group of 3 badges, A cap badge, and two large collar badges are made of brass. All the lug style attachments are correct and in good usable order. An excellent addition to a Canadian Badge collection.


The Saskatchewan Border Regiment was an infantry regiment of the Non-Permanent Active Militia of the Canadian Militia (now the Canadian Army). The regiment was created in 1924 in Estevan, Saskatchewan, from the reorganization of The South Saskatchewan Regiment into five separate regiments. This unit was very short livrd and  in 1936, The Saskatchewan Border Regiment was amalgamated with The Weyburn Regiment to re-form The South Saskatchewan Regiment which fought in WWII.
