Above are the scans for this "spurious" WWII era German pilot 25 sortie award. It is unusual in the fact that it is made of copper. (you may know more). These well-made replicas were made during a brief post war years, where the local surviving badge makers would produce these excellent replicas as souvenirs for the occupying troops in the late 1940's. in Germany. With the returning troops these badges found their way into North America. This could be one of these!
