You are viewing a WWI era "hate" belt. (Don't know why they call them "Hate Belts". May be because the early ones were made using the enemy's badges.) This one contains WWI era Canadian badges, and belonged to a Canadian, so it is not really a "Hate" belt. Nevertheless it contains 17 WWI era cap and collar badges, all original and in good order The collars are for the battalions 70th, 98th, 1st Mounted rifles, 33 rd, 2nd Cyclist Bat., 59th, 6th, 155th, the Canadian Machine gun Corps, and the 168th Oxfords. The Battalion Cap Badges are the 91st, the 136th, the 93rd, the 8th Mounted Rifles, the 21st, and the 18th. There are also 3 numbers including the super rare 9th battalion, and the 39th, and the Roman numeral XXIII in brass.
