This is an interesting badge related to the French Army of WWII. Made of enameled heavy white metal. Has a French army cross design with what might be a regimental number (110). Has a motto around the sides and top of the badge. "Qui s'y Frotte s'y pioue" ( Who rubs up against us will suffer) All of this comes with a leather "buttonholer" attachment. The badge itself has a straight pin style attachment on two hoop style fasteners.
