Above are the scans for this vintage WWII era two colored bronze heroic bust desk ornament. Quite unusual to find this two colored bronze. It is still in good solid condition showing the head and shoulders of of a helmeted German soldier. The figure is a uniformed stern looking SS soldier wearing an M-42 styled helmet with a relief eagle/swastika and a small National colors crest. There is an SS type eagle on the uniform. The finish on the bust shows some very minor ware on the helmet and chest area of the uniform. It stands nearly 40cm ( 8 inches ) tall and mounted on a 7cm by 7cm by 7cm marble base, nicely felted. A rare artifact from a bygone era.
