You are viewing a vintage bi-metal police badge used in Canada, most likely on the old style bonnet hat, during the pre WWII period. The large leaf (almost 9cm to the tip of the stem.) forming the background to this badge is made of painted bark brown color over copper. The crown over beaver insignia may be silver. A rare find of a Canadian police badge from a bygone era.
