You are viewing a large copper helmet badge (approx 6cm long) for the Canadian contingent Queens Own Rifles that served, most likely, in South Africa during the Boer War era.. This badge has a Victoria crown and flat lugs, both in good usable order. Within the red glass oval one can see a shiny brass "2". The glass on this badge perfect, no chips or cracks, a rare occurrance for these badges. It is an exquisit relic from the days of a bygone era. A rare find among Victoria era cap badges.
Guaranteed 100% genuine.
