This is an interesting badge related to the French Army. Made of a heavy enameled white metal. Has a whiye enameled shield in the centre under an axe motif. Has roman numerals on the sheild.The badge itself has a straight pin style attachment. It is clearly hallmarked "PCDF" with the number 890. May be police related??? Don't know much more about it though???
