You are viewing an 1870's Wurttemberg, Germany, Fireman's Helmet plate. , made of brass. Note the "F" on the helmet portrayed at the top of the helmet plate, I have been told this is for "Feuer Wehr", hence the "F". Both screw-type attachments are present and undamaged. This beautiful brass badge is very clean, still showing its fine design details. The enameling on the crest is excellent.
