You are viewing the scans for an interesting and hard to find post WWI Era Helmet Decal for the 29th CEF Battalion. Formed in 1915. this battalion was raised in Vancouver British Columbia. Sailed for England inMay of1915 and was part of the 6th infantry brigade 2nd Canadian Division. Served in France and Belgium. Became known as Tobin's Tigers since it was under command of one Lt. Colonel H.S. Tobin. This interesting old tobacco decal is in like new condition. These were included in cigarette packs as premiums during the 1920's and 30's. The instructions are on the back of the decal sheet. Quite often these were used by the troops and applied to their helmets. The inspection tag was on the lot package and is NOT part of what you will receive. Guaranteed 100% genuine.
