You are viewing a rare WW1 era CEF cap badge for the 9th Mounted Rifles CEF Battalion. This specimen is made of copper. It has very fine "patina" aging, and yet is still very clean. both lug type fasteners are original and in good order. The badge is clearly hallmarked "RJ Inglis Limited"


The 9th Mounted Rifle Battalion was organized in North west Saskatchewan, at Lloydminster, in 1915.
