WWI 1914 Dated
|If insurance is declined the buyer takes all responsibility for damage or loss in shipping.
Above are the scans of a WWI era 1914 Dated "Mary" Tin. These were issued to members of the BEF serving in Europe at the beginning of WWI. They were Christmas presents given by Queen Mary (wife of George V) to the troops serving in the trenches.
They were made of brass and filled with either chocolate, tobacco, or cigarettes. A nice find from WWI military memorabilia, getting harder to find these days.
