A rare original medal Victoria era British South Africa medal, comes with 3 clasps,"Cape Colony", Orange Free State, and the Transvaal , all made of silver. Comes the characteristic ornate swivel bail suspension.
These small medals were usually named, issued to all ranks, and used on the dress uniform. This one is named to the regimental bugler, one H.H. Deboltz, 44th coy, 12th Imp Yeo.  Service number is 6945.  The ribbon is original, light orange with 2 narrow blue bands, and red edges. View scans for details
