You are viewing a vintage WWI era 229th Battalion CEF Shoulder title. Made of "browning copper" it is in excellent overall condition, with a local Hallmark from "Crightons Moose Jaw". The original lugs are intact and in good order. Nice addition to enhance a cap and collar set. We have 3 in stock presently.
The 229th CEF battalion was formed by volunteers from the Moose Jaw Saskatchewan area of western Canada. It was a small battalion composed of 443 members. They sailed off into history on April 18th, 1917. Upon arrival in England they were immediately sent to France and served with the 6th Battalion Railway troops ....
