You are viewing the scans of a WW2 German Dagger. This WW2 German SA Dagger is in good condition. Nice patina on the nickeled top and lower crossguard. It has a dark highly polished rosewood grip. It has an enamelled SA roundel and early type silvered Eagle/Swastika. The lower crossguard is marked with "He". The blade has some slight graying . The reverse side has vertical lines from scabbord effect and is clearly marked with the makers logo and "F.W. Backhaus - Soligen". The brown enamel scabbord has nickeled throat and tip. All screws and hanger ring are intact with its leather (still quite flexible) strap and buckle still intact.The nipple on the tip of the scabbord is in excellent condition, no dents,with very clean plating on the throat and tip.
