You are viewing an original WW2 Era Devil's Brigade cloth shoulder title. It has white embroidered letters on a bright red embroidered background. About 2.5 inches long. The 1st Special Service Force, also known as the "Devil's Brigade" was formed in 1942 by volunteers from the Canadian and American armies. They trained at Fort William Henry Harrison, outside of Helena, Montana. The brigade fought in the Aleutian Islands against the Japanese, and in Italy and Southern France, before being disbanded in December 1944. Many modern American and Canadian Special Forces units trace their inspiration and heritage to this unit.
